It's a sad day for Twin Cities radio. Our only commercial Alternative station, Drive105, has been replaced by a new format devoted to sappy love songs. I literally screamed when I heard the call sign while driving this afternoon!
Disney really pisses me off sometimes. Listen to this drivel yourself...even the logo makes me cringe.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell they're thinking. "Let's see. We're getting spanked by 89.3, and playing better music is out of the question. What should we do? Yeah! Sappy love songs 24 hours a day! People will love it! Get it? Love it? Ha!"
I never thought the mix on Drive105 was very good, but there's no chance in hell I'll be listening to Love105.
I remember back in the early ninetees when I was in middle school and 105 and 93.7 would take turns being grunge alternative... I miss those days.

Thanks for the warning. I have to reset the stations on my car radio. I shall avoid 105.
